You Matter...

With lots more to share from the Crop & Create, I have blog post for days. I hope you all are enjoying all the cards. Most of the cards I have changed up with was shown in the class. Sometimes I just need to add more color... of course.

Today's card was created using Brutus Monroe:
  • Elegant Encouragement Stamp Set
  • Elegant Encouragement Dies
  • Elegant Encouragement Stencils

Create card from cardstock A2 size.

Cut another piece of white cardstock slightly smaller (4 x 5 1/4) and stencil this fun Elegant Encouragement. Go wild with color. Sprinkle the stenciled background with Copic Opaque and let dry. Adhere the background to the center of your card base.

Stamp the sentiments on white cardstock with black ink and die cut using the coordinating dies. Add some foam tape to the back of the sentiments and adhere them to the card.

Finishing with a few of Pink &Main Ballroom Gems.

This was an easy card to create. Don't you just love that stencil? I don't know if they will release this stencil in the future but you can create this kind of card with any floral stencil.

Thank you for stopping by.

Have a wonderful day!

Thinking of You...

Happy Monday everyone. Today I am enjoying the company of my mom. She came to visit from CO. It is always a good day when moms around... right!

Today I am sharing a card that I created using Brutus Monroe: Homegrown Happiness Inspiration Box

I started with stamping out the Homegrown Happiness stamps on my card base. In the negative space I colored in the space using Copic Sketch markers. I kept it simple. Finishing up with stamping this sentiment on some of the card-stock included in the box. I adhered it flat using liquid glue.

I hope you all have a great week. I had the best weekend with my mom we went to the Fair, which I am so happy to see that is back for us all to enjoy. I love me a good Fair. Reminds me of when I was small.

That is all for today.

Thanks for stopping by.

Mermaid Kisses...

Monday is here and I am starting out my week with the new Brutus Monroe Mermaid Kisses Inspiration Box that just released this month. I know we all love us a cute mermaid set. The boxes will always include cardstock, layering pieces, an enamel pin, stamp set and so much more!

I created a simple background using OOLY Chroma Blends Neon Watercolor Paints and sprinkles a little of Brutus Monroe Chroma Mist and Distress Oxide Black Soot. I stamped out these adorable images from the Mermaid Kisses stamp set and colored with Copic Sketch markers then die cut using the coordinating dies.

I added the images to my card using foam adhesives for a little dimension. I finished up with the Brutus Monroe Decorative Details that was included in the Inspiration Box. I did not add a sentiment just because I wanted to use this set for any occasion.

That is all for today.

Thank you for stopping by.

Have a wonderful week... remember to smile.

The mask requirement has been lifted here in CA so I am going to smile as much as I can.

Shoot For The Stars...

Happy Monday everyone. Today I am sharing a card that I created using the Brutus Monroe Reach For The Stars Inspiration Box. If you like space then this box is calling your name.

I started with creating this fun Ranger Oxide ink background. I just blended what I thought would look like space then added some Brutus Monroe Chroma Mist. Next I stamped out these fun images from the Reach For The Stars stamp set and die cut using the coordinating dies included in the box. I set those aside and stamped out my sentiment, trimmed down to size and then added some of that fun glitter card-stock included in the box to give my sentiment a little shine.

Time to piece this card together. I first added the colored images using foam adhesive then added the sentiment. Did you notice I put the astronaut foot on top of the sentiment. Looks like he is stepping over it. Just wanted to add that quick bit.

Now for the bling and what better then silver glitter stars. These are also included in the box set along with the sequins used on this card.

If you like Card box kits you will love the Brutus Monroe Inspiration Boxes. Check it out HERE. You can also buy the product individually.

Thanks for stopping by.

Have an awesome Monday!

So Kind....

Happy Monday everyone. I hope you all had an awesome weekend. This is my second post for Brutus Monroe and I am happy to share another card using the Homegrown Happiness Inspiration Box. I am in love with this box as it has many different components to create pretty and different cards.

I created the background using Ranger Alcohol ink Stonewashed. I stamped out these lovely flowers from the Homegrown Happiness stamp set and fussy cut them out so I can add them to my card using foam adhesives for a little dimension. I added a piece of the colored card-stock included in the Homegrown Happiness Inspiration Box then added my alcohol inked background. Finishing up with stamping this sentiment, trimming and adding to my card.

Oh yes, lets now forget about that pretty sequins. I added them here and there for a little shine. The sequins is also in this box set.

Well that is all for today....

Thanks for stopping by.

Have a great Monday!

Brutus Monroe: Homegrown Happiness Inspiration Box...

Happy Memorial Day everyone. Did you see the news that I have joined the Brutus Monroe Inspiration Box design team? This is the first kit team I have been on and it is pretty fun getting a box of goodies to create with. Today is my first post and I am creating with the Homegrown Happiness box. This box came out in March but is still available.

This box comes with some preprinted designer cards that you can foil so that is what I did with this card. I used one of the 4 designs included in this box and foiled it. Now my card has a little shine. I also cut a strip of the glitter card-stock included in the box and added to the sides of my card base. YES, even more sparkle.

I stamped out these beautiful flowers with the stamp set that is included in the box. The Homegrown Happiness stamp set can be purchased without buy the box. I fussy cut them out and added them to my foiled background using some adhesives and foam tape. I must always have a little dimension.

Finishing up with foiling the sentiment. This is also a preprinted set that comes in the box. You can foil it or just trim them an add them to your projects.

Make sure to check out all of Brutus Monroe Inspiration Box's that release every month. You can search for them on his site HERE
