Botanical Challenge...

Fanatical about Botanical Challenge
This challenge is perfect.  I love making flowers and this gives me the opportunity to submit my mixed media art.  I always submit cards for challenges.  As soon as I seen this challenge I already had my paint out and ready to create.  I am actually getting ready for our yearly craft fair.  Time to sell some homemade crafts.  This will be one that I sell.  I do have to say that I love how this one came out.  The flowers were super fun to make and I think they look great.  Well enough of my babble...
Here is my creation and submission...
Blank Canvas
Acrylic Paint
Deja Vu Rub-On
I cut circles out of packing paper
I wrinkles them and punched a hole and put a brad.
Colored with Tattered Angels Mist
Distress the edges with Tim Holtz Ink
Used as background pages out of an old book.
Glued down with Mod Podge
I colored the Mod Podge brown with acrylic paint to add more color.

    ooh, what fabulous mixed media art, Annette! I have been really enjoying working with different mediums myself these days, so this has really caught my eye. Love the background you created, and LOVE those flowers. :)
