Holly Jolly...

Happy Saturday blog friends. Today I have brought out another oldie and I have to say I could make these snowmen shakers all day long. You can play with so many patterns when creating this snowman. I went with black and white... of course.

Card designed using:
  • Jillian Vance Design: Sam E. Snowman Die
  • PhotoPlay: Holly Jolly Stencil
  • Pinkfresh Studio: Sparkling Rose, Sky Blue, Ballet Slipper and Peach Fuzz

Create card from white cardstock A2 size.

Stencil this fun Holly Jolly stencil using Pinkfresh Studio: Sparkling Rose, Sky Blue, Ballet Slipper and Peach Fuzz ink pads.  I used a light hand when blending the ink. If you look close I layered the color.

I took out my scrap pile and added some designer paper to the right hand side of the card. The strip measures 2 inches wide. I adhered the strip using liquid glue.

Cut another strip of the black and white designer paper measure 1/2 inches and adhere it to the right hand side of card. Make sure whatever designer paper you use for the thinner strip on the card that you have enough for the snowman.

Die cut the snowman die three times, one on white cardstock, one on acetate and the last one with the circle in the middle in the belly, this is the opening for the sequins.

Adhere the acetate to the back of the snowman with the circle cutout.

Die cut the snowman again with the circle on double sided sheet of foam tape. Peel only one side of the adhesive and add it to the acetate part of the snowman. this will create the space we need to fill the snowman.

Add a mixture of sequins in the belly. I went with smaller sequins, just because the space is smaller.

Peel the other part of the foam tape and adhere the solid snowman. This should close up your snowman and now you have a shaker snowman.

Die cut all the accessories for the snowman and adhere them to the snowman.

Add some foam tape to the back of the snowman shaker and add it to your card.

A little shaker fun and a super cute snowman.... right? Such a fun die set and will forever be in my collection.

Thank you for stopping by.

Have a wonderful and happy Saturday!

Hello and Goodbye...

Happy Monday everyone.. today I am on the A Jillian Vance Design Blog HERE. Today is my last post as a design team member. I would like to thank Jillian and Bunny for having me on the team again... it was totally fun and I am so grateful.

Today's card was created using: AJVD: Hello DIEalogue Word die and Mini Sail Boat die.

Lots of die cutting on this card. I used misc designer paper scraps to create this fun Mini Sailboat background. For the Hello die I used black and gold glitter paper and layered them. Totally easy to recreate if you wanted too.

Thank you all so much for stopping by and for always leaving me comments.

Snowman Shaker...

Well I happen to think that this is the best snowman shaker ever. It is from A Jillian Vance Design and it is called Sam E. Snowman Shaker Die Set . This set is so fun you really could do any color combo and it would still be cute. You know me I am non-traditional when it comes to colors. The background is the Lawn Fawn: Snowy Backdrop and I added some Christmas washi tape. There is no stamping on this card.

Of course I filled this little cuties belly with Drive By Crafts: Fairy Dust. It is small and makes for great shakers.  My husband tells me this one was his favorite so far. Who doesn't love a fun shaker card right?

Well that is all for today.
Thank you so much for stopping by.

Beautiful...

Yay it is the weekend. What's on your agenda this weekend? Me not much. It is still snowing and cold outside. But last night my husband brought me home three dozen of Tulips and took me out for a steak dinner. It has so nice and I am so blessed. The weekend has already been perfect.
I made this card yesterday and created it with A Jillian Vance Design: Pine Trees and Out Foxed. The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday Ali Edwards Amazing. I love the old Ali Edwards sets the script is so pretty. This fox is one of my most favorites. It is just so darn cute. Don't you think? The paper is from Lawn Fawn. I am a pink and purple kind of girl.

Well I am off to make some breakfast... Pancakes and Bacon.
I know that just made you hungry.. heehee..
