Good Friend...

Happy Wednesday blog friends... I told you that I would be back with another Halloween card. Today I am featuring Sugar Pea Designs: Bewitched stamp set and Hocus Pocus dies. The background was created using Neat & Tangled: Radiating Star stencil with Ranger Oxide inks: Wilted Violet, Black Soot, Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade and Twisted Citron.

You know that I love me a good blended background. The Oxide inks are my favorite to use with stencils when blending different colors. The images are colored with Copic Sketch markers and I did a little fussy cutting.

I die cut a few of the Hocus Pocus image on colored card-stock. The stamp set comes with a witches hat but I decided to use the one from the die set. It is big, but I like the way it came out.

Of course I used some foam adhesives on some of the images for a little dimension. You know how I feel about dimension.

Finishing up with stamping the sentiment directly onto the card.

Are you creating Halloween cards yet? Leave me a comment below and let me know so I can stop by your blog. I know I have some readers only and I appreciate that. But if you leave a comment I can stop by your blog too.

Thanks for stopping by.

Have an awesome day!

You Are Purr-Fect....

I was on a roll yesterday and made two cards. The first one was posted yesterday in case you missed it check out yesterdays posting and this was the second. I was going through some odds and ends die cuts that I keep just in case I want to use them later and well I came up with this DIFFERENT background. I know you might think hey that is cool or you might go the other way and say that is weird. I am really ok with both. I happen to think it is cool and weird. HAHA..

Why not right? I am a little weird sometimes and well this is what happens when I am. LOL

I used the left over die cuts from the Sugar Pea Designs: Harlequin Cover die set and the images are from My Favorite Things: Happy Haunting stamp set. Conveniently we sell both at www.drivebycrafts.com. If you feel the need to have... LOL

Just by changing up your background and using non-traditional colors you can make a card be whatever you want. These are actually Halloween stamps and I do not think my card looks Halloween at all. Use you stamp sets in different ways and get more usage out of them. That is the tip today. Who would have thought I would have tips to share. haha..

Thanks for stopping by.

Celebrate You Floral...

Happy Tuesday everyone.. have you started out your week busy? Not me it has been pretty relaxing and a little hotter then normal so the air is on and I am cool. Yay for air. Today I was in a card making mood so I created this fun floral card. Who loves to color flowers? Seems like that is the most popular stamps anything floral. My favorite is coloring little people or animal stamps. Just depends on my mood.

Today's card is created using Sugar Pea Designs: Harlequin Cover Plate, Honey Bee Stamps: Spring Blossoms stamp set and Neat & Tangled: Celebrate You stamp set. The images are colored with Copic sketch markers and I used my Brother Scan n Cut machine to cut the images out. I love this machine. Make sure to check out my online store www.drivebycrafts.com.

Well that is all for today.
Thanks for stopping by.

Best Nephew...

You guessed it right this card is for my Nephew... He is in his 20's and really is the best nephew. Let me tell you a little about him he is in the Army and is married with two of the sweetest kids. Which makes me a great aunt. How cool is that?  I just love them all to pieces.

I told you it was a big birthday month for me. I love April...

I went a little crazy with his card but I think it came out totally fun. I LOVE Precious Remembrance Shop stamps because they are so artsy. Whatever you combine it just looks cool.

YOU are...

Happy Friday everyone.. whew I got a card made today. I have been trying to take a good photo of this card to get posted on my blog today. I have had some delays. LOL

It has been crazy windy here today and COLD... oh my cold enough for a sweater. I am ready for the warmer weather but you know this still beats the snow that we had in CO.

Today I wore a scarf so I thought this card appropriate.
That is all for today and this weekend. I don't have many plans this weekend maybe some yard work and well maybe a card or two. We will see how the weekend plays out. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Thanks for stopping by.

Me to You...

Thursday and it is a little gloomy outside, but I have to say I love it. Feels like winter in California. It is nice and cool outside. It has been a peaceful morning.

So I created this card a while ago and just now getting to share it with you all. I created it using: Sugar Pea Designs: Koalaty Time exclusive stamp set, Mama Elephant: Framed Tags Die Set, TCW: Valentina Stencil and Memento Luxe: Neon Yellow, Green, Purple and Blue

There I go again with my burlap string. All I have to say is I still have PLENTY of it. LOL Do you ever do that? Use something on almost every card? There are no rules to card making well at least not in this house. Do what you want and just have fun. Is it trendy? Well I have no idea. I don't think I am a trendy kind of gal. I am just me. Whatever comes to mind is what comes out on my cards.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
Have a fantastic day and remember to smile.

Mi Amigo...

Happy Day everyone. Well today I am getting a late start to crafting but for a good reason. I had lunch with a good friend. We had a great burger and good conversation.

The sun is shinning and my windows are open. Yay for fresh air. This morning I heard the birds chirping and it was music to my ears. Yay for summer weather.
So today I made a card for the Sugar Pea Designs May sketch challenge. This is my very first set from Sugar Pea Designs and I am totally loving it. You might not now this about me but I am Latina and well that explains why I love this set so much. Not that you have to be Latina to enjoy this set but it just reminds me of my grandparents and my heritage. I adore these images and totally fun to color. I think I will give this card to my mom.. I know she will want this set too.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
