Thanks A Lot...

Happy Tuesday everyone.. what's new? Me not a whole lot just chillin this week. It is still HOT and HUMID we have been running our air for a long time and got my electric bill WOWZER. Got to pay to be cool LOL. 

Well as I am in my COOL house (haha) I decided to create a card and well this is what I came up with. I did a Ranger Alcohol Ink background and die cut it to get this cool mix of color background. 

I colored me up these Best Buds from Paper Smooches and die cut them with the matching Best Buds die set. Oh yeah I sell this set in my store www.drivebycrafts. Just click on the description and you will see. I colored with Copic sketch markers and added some dimension with Scrapbook Adhesives Foam Squares and those cute dots are from NUVO: Mustard Crystal Drops. YES we sell both of these too. heehee

The Sweetest...

Happy Tuesday everyone... today I am getting a little crafty and messy at the same time. You would not believe the mess I made making this background. It helps to keep it on the paper.. LOL just al little tip. 

I created the background with a couple of different mediums. I used watercolors first and while it was still wet I put some NUVO: Violet Brocade  Shimmer Powder and finished it up with some Copic Opaque white. Have I said before that I just love fun bright colors. They are so fun to create with. Go wild and have fun.

The stamp set I used is Altenew: Summer Swirls. How fun are these ice cream images and this set has an ice cream truck too. That will make an appearance on my next card. I also add some opaque to the images just because I think it looks so cool.  The images are colored with Copic sketch markers.

Simple and SWEET.. card to create today. I love when they just come together.

Happy Wednesday... I am having a slow start to my day. I did not sleep well last night but am starting to get my act together now. I was wondering if it was going to happen. Do you ever just have those type of nights and then it leads to a tough morning of ok lets go already. 

My dog does not have the same problem as me because he just wants to play all day. You know I am a housewife but I am now thinking I am just a playmate for my dog. He is way to spoiled. haha

Well today I did get a card started. I am playing with some of the Ranger alcohol inks. They came out a while ago and now back in demand. Interesting how things fade and come back. I love the affect you get when you use multiple colors. I also used Newton's Nook Designs: Toucan Party stamp set along with MFT Stamps: More Essential Sentiments stamp set and Reverse Confetti: All Framed Up die set. I colored this sweet image with Copic sketch markers. The sentiment is embossed using NUVO Clear Mark and Lawn Fawn: White embossing powder.

Happy Rainy day.... is it raining or snowing where you live? We are getting a big of rain but it is good for all the flowers I have been planting. Wish we had our new grass in because I know it would have really made it green. We are going to get it tomorrow yay more yard work... NOT FUN. oh well it should be really nice when we are done. I will share photos when it is complete. 

So Drive By Crafts just got in the new NUVO Shimming Powders...  HELLO PEOPLE they are awesome. That is how I created this fun background. Just spritz your card with water and sprinkle some of the powder and BAM you got a cool background. I mean come on what will they come up with next?  CHECK THEM OUT HERE. They are selling fast. I am reordering today. 

I used some older sets on this card because I almost never get rid of stamp sets. I don't even know if they sell them anymore. But thats ok because they are still pretty.

YES I used them all just because they are so pretty. I was just testing them and well this card happened. I could not waste this pretty background.

Happy Wednesday everyone... I guess I am in a challenge mood this week. I loved the simplicity of the new My Favorite Things sketch challenge that I just had to create a card for it. I knew exactly what I wanted to create and well it totally worked out. yay me. I love those type of cards.
