Be Merry...

Mixing it up today... Happy Monday blog friends. Today I have pulled out all my favorite Christmas dies and today I am mixing it up. When I say mixing it up, I mean dies from different companies. I know some crafters like to craft with the same company when creating... Not me, I love mixing it up.

Today I am all about the dies.. today's card was created using.

• Memory Box: Whittle Rudolph (I have used this for a few years now)
• Hello Bluebird: Be Merry
• Sizzix: Boughs of Holly Thinlits
• Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue

I started with adhering a piece of red and white designer paper to my card base.

Next I die cut all my pieces out. I started with this pretty Holly die and used Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue to adhere together and then on the card. 

For the sentiment I die cut the Be Merry 4 times and adhered them all together. This will give my sentiment dimension. Although I did that I still added some foam squares. 

Finishing up with this adorable Rudolph. 

SO SIMPLE... and I only used dies. I say never get rid of dies. They are always handy.

Merry Christmas Rudolph...

Happy Friday. Who's ready for the weekend? What do you have planned? I am staying safe at home. Seems as though all the late shoppers are out and there are a lot of them. In the mean time I am still creating Christmas cards. 

Today's card was created using Memory Box: Whittle Rudolph die, MFT Full of Hearts die, Concord & 9th: Mix and Match Holiday Sentiments and Lil'inker Designs: Dotted Scallops. Mixing it all up today. These are older sets, so I do not know if you can still buy them.

I started with die cutting the Whittle Rudolph many times on colored card-stock. The head and body need to be adhered together. While I wait for those to dry I die cut the Lil'inker Designs: Dotted Scallops on a piece of MFT Stamp: Summertime Polka Dots designer paper. I adhered the background to my card base.

Now time to add those cute Rudolph images. I formed a wreath like design on my card. I had to use some foam adhesives on the upper layer so that my wreath did not look flat on my card. I then die cut the MFT Full of Hearts die on white card-stock and adhered hearts to my card. 

Finishing up with this cute sentiment from Concord & 9th: Mix and Match Holiday Sentiments. 

How do you like my Rudolph wreath? It was totally fun to create.

Christmas Rudolph...

Happy Saturday everyone. I made this card yesterday and well I have not posted on a Saturday in a long while so here ya go. Remember I used this deer die cut before and said it would in another card soon, well here it is.

I created this card using: Memory Box: Whittle Rudolph, Hero Arts: Christmas Fancy Cut and Lawn Fawn: Simply Winter sentiments stamp set. 

I went for another non traditional color themed card. Got to love pastel colors... right? I think they look so fun on this kraft card-stock. Totally simple card to recreate. Just die cut the sentiment and Rudolph many times and adhered it to your card base. I added some Copic opaque just because I can and well it gives it that snowy look that I love.

We Wish You...

Welcome everyone to another day of yes you guessed it Christmas cards. I am on a roll and have many more ideas on what I want to create. I am keeping it simple just because I need to make many more and well if they take too long to create I will be making Christmas cards for days. 

Today's cards are created by using Avery Elle: Merry Merry stamp set, Pretty Pink Posh: Whimsical Christmas Stencil, Ranger Oxide inks and Memory Box: Whittle Rudolph die. 

I did another simple but cute stencil background. I just got this Pretty Pink Posh: Whimsical Christmas Stencil and totally love it. So totally fun to create with. I went with non traditional colors again. Why not... right?

How about that fun little Memory Box: Whittle Rudolph die? I purchased it a long time ago and just now using it. Why did I take so long? It is the cutest. Let's just say you might see it in the next set of Christmas cards. I just cant resist.
