So here is the update on my kitchen...Today they are taking out all of the walls...oh yeah I said the walls. I know I am beside myself. So it has been cleaned out of all cabinets and now the walls. Well I guess I just have to be thankful that they are doing a great job and making sure it is all taken care of. But that should tell you how bad the damage was. So yes we are living in a hotel because they are trying to dry the floors out and it is like 98 degrees in my house.hot hot hot. Not a place you want to hang out in right now. I hope it works and the floor will be able to stay. Well that is the update..thanks for listening to me babble about this.
Thanks for stopping by.
Make sure and stop by tomorrow for another great release.

ReplyDeleteSo glad that you manage to get the workers to work on it right away. I cannot imagine that the walls needed to be taken down as well. We had a small leakage three months ago and it gave us so much stress already and I really admire that you are handling it so well. BIG Hugs to you!

ReplyDeleteUgh, ugh, ugh! The good thing is that your will really have a totally brand new kitchen when they are done, and your in CA, so there's not a lot of humidity.....will dry faster and much less chance of mold than in the muggy southeast. I'm sure that it's not fun though. Praying that you'll be back in the house soon!
