Taylored Expressions: Butterfly Wishes Cardmaking Kit Release...

 Happy Tuesday.

Today is the Taylored Expressions Butterfly Wishes Kit release.

I know you all are gonna love this.. it is full of spring fun.

This kit is so pretty and makes the prettiest butterflies. You can go wild with color. I stamped directly onto my card base the stems of the butterflies. This is a larger rubber stamp that is included in the kit. Then I lined up the coordinating stencil and started adding my ink using TE Blender Brushes and Premium inks.. Gumball, Salt Water Taffy, Granny Smith, Keylime, Pineapple and Lemon Meringue. Lots and lots of color. You can really mix any colors together for a colorful card full of pretty butterflies.

Next I added the special wing details that is included in the kit as a clear stamp set. Very easy to line up and get that pretty detail on the butterflies.

I thought this would be a great Mother's Day card so I used the TE Stitched Mini Slim Stacklets and die cut onto some white card-stock and layered on top of it the TE Double Ended Flag Stacklets that I die cut onto some TE Cookie Monster card-stock. I stamped this sentiment from the Butterfly Wishes Sweet Sentiment clear stamp set that is included in the kit and added the flag to the mini slim stacklet using foam adhesives for a little dimension. Then adhered to the card base. Finishing up with wrapping some burlap string and tying a bow.

I love that the kit comes with envelopes and these sweet coordinating butterfly envelope seals.

Here is a softer look to this set. I stamped out the stems using TE Toffee Premium ink and with the stencil I used TE Granny Smith, Confetti Cake and Pink Champagne. I did light ink blending for the soft ink look. This is easily done but dabbing your TE Blender Brushes lightly onto the inks and then again on a separate piece of paper then using on the stencil. This kit also comes with two butterfly dies so I die cut the butterflies out here and there and popped them out using foam adhesives.

I die cut the mini Slim Temple Circles dies on some Toffee card-stock and adhered to my card base. I added one of the Envelope Sealers as my sentiment. You can use the sealers in many ways. I need a little shine so I added a few TE Gold Drip Drops here and there.

Make sure to get your hands on this limited kit before it is gone.

Thanks for stopping by!
