Color Fun...

Hello blog friends. I am posting late today. Actually I have not posted since Saturday... what is wrong with me. LOL I do post on my Instagram page sometimes and not on my blog. So I hope that you follow me on Instagram too.

Today I created this Lawn Fawn card. I used Stinkin Cute stamp set, Bee Mine stamp set and Magic Iris Fall Leaves lawn cuts.

The background was created with ink pads. I just pressed them onto my card-stock to create this colorful background. I used Waffle Flower Crafts ink pads. I don't know if they still sell ink pads but when they did I was very impressed with the colors. I then cut the background into panels and adhered them to my card base.

Next I die cut all my pieces out on white and kraft card-stock. I added the flowers from the same die set to the circled Leaf. I used some foam adhesives and some liquid glue. A little dimension is always good.

I then stamped out my images and colored with Copic sketch markers. I had to do a little fussy cutting as I do not own the coordinating dies. But that is the story of my life.... really... LOL

I finished up with added all my die cuts and colored images to the background card-base and decided not to add a sentiment. I played with that option for a while and decided against it.

I felt that I need a bit more so I added the white NUVO Crystal Drops to the center of the flowers and Sweet Lilac NUVO Crystal Drops to the branches. Now it is done.....

I hope you like this card. I was really proud of it when I finished. Dont you just love when you really like how your cards come out. That does not always happen for me. I think we are our worst critics.

Thanks for stopping by.

I hope you had an amazing day and if you are ready this on Thursday I hope you have an awesome Thursday.

  1. Funny, I just made a card using the same circular floral die...great minds think alike! I like your rainbow color choice. I used autumnal colors. As usual, your card made me happy. Your previous card was upbeat too. Thanks!
