Well hello blog friends. I just finished this Taylored Expressions Holly Jolly Christmas cling/clear combo and Big Grumpy Christmas card. I am all about Christmas now, so get ready because I have LOTS of Christmas stamps and dies to create with.
The background was created using Ranger Oxide inks Festive Berries, Salvaged Patina and Kitsch Flamingo. I just ink blended the colors then added some Copic Opaque. The Copic Opaque gives that snow look and well you know how much I love using this stuff.
I then stamped the Holly Jolly Christmas directly onto my background. You will see the opaque come through the black ink. I think it looks cool. Just wanted to clarify that I did stamp the sentiment thoroughly. I then stamped the holy and branches from the clear set that is included.
I stamped the Santa hat from the Big Grumpy Christmas set and die cut using the coordinating dies.
This is a great card to mass produce if you send out lots of Christmas cards. It was simple and quick to create.
