Happy New Year!....

HAPPY NEW YEAR BLOG FRIENDS.... 2023 is here. Did you stay up late last night? We DID NOT.. LOL I can't remember the last time I stood up until midnight. But, it rained like cats and dogs last night and I slept like a baby. I love when it rains.

We are at home today just chillin. It is super windy outside today and I have a pot of beans cooking. We are having tostadas for dinner tonight.. YUM.. they are my favorite.  So while we wait for the beans to cook I created a New Years card.

Today's card was created using Taylored Expressions...
  • On the Block Happy stamp/die set
  • On Repeat New Year stamp/die set
  • Fluffy Friends Holiday stamp/die set
  • Shining Star Cutting Plate
  • Cap It Off Numbers dies
  • Inks (Lollipop, Watermelon, Blueberry and Blue Raspberry)

Create card from cardstock A2 size.

Cut a piece of white cardstock slightly smaller than the card base and ink blend it the colors of your choice.

Die cut the Shining Star Cutting Plate on the ink blended background.

Adhere a piece of silver glitter cardstock behind the die cut Shining Star background.

Adhere the Shining Star background to your card base. Make sure to center the background on the card base.

Stamp and color this adorable penguin from the Fluffy Friends and die cut the penguin out using the coordinating dies. If you don't own the coordinating dies you can always fussy cut.

Stamp the HAPPY sentiment using two colors. Stamp one color at a time. Don't worry about being even with the color.

Die cut the HAPPY sentiment using the coordinating die.

Stamp the HAPPY NEW YEAR using black ink and die cut using the coordinating dies.

Die cut the Cap It Off Numbers on white glitter cardstock so you have 2023.

Adhere all the images centering your scene on the card base. I used foam adhesives on every piece. Lots of dimension.

AND there you go... My First card of the 2023 year.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Start out your new year being positive, friendly and grateful.
