My Rainbow...

Happy MAY blog friends. It is the month of rainbows... right? Although we have already has our share of rain this year. But you never know. God sure did bless us with the beauty of color.... Don't you think?

Today I am sharing a card that I created using Lawn Fawn:
  • My Rainbow Stamp Set
  • Cloud Stencil
  • Rainbow Dies
  • Prima Glitter
  • Inks (Lobster, Carrot, Sunflower, Freshly Cut Grass, Glue Jay and Grape Jelly)
These sets are from the Scrapbook & Cards Crop & Create. I think that they will be released but for now they were exclusive to the class. If you are wondering there will be another Crop & Create in fall. Follow Scrapbook & Cards so you can get all the updates. Trust me it is so fun and totally worth the money spent. I do not normally pay for these type of events but I tried it and will continue to be for years to come.

Create card from cardstock A2 size.

Cut a separate piece of white cardstock, same size as your card front. Take the Cloud stencil and LF inks, create this fun and colorful background.  Be light handed when blending your ink. When moving the stencil down your card, shift the stencil so the clouds do not all line up.

Adhere the colorful background to your card using liquid glue.

Die cut the rainbow and clouds on white cardstock. Using a blending tool, add your LF inks to match your background. Rainbow colors.

Cut a small piece of black cardstock and adhere it to the back of the clouds. This helps highlight the eyes and smile. Die cut the cheeks on pink cardstock and adhere to the cloud.

Line up your rainbow pieces and add foam tape to the back. Now adhere the rainbow to your card base.

Add foam tape to the back of your clouds and add them to the rainbow.

Using a Quickie Glue pen, add some of LF Prima Glitter to the cheeks and the center of each color of the rainbow. Follow the stitched lines.

Stamp the sentiments on your fun background using black ink. Add more of that Quickie Glue to the RAINBOW sentiment and add more of that fun LF Prima Glitter.

A colorful and happy card to start my May. I know that this month will be great. God is amazing!

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Have a colorful day full of smiles.
