It is one of my favorite days.... yay! for Friday. I was a little bored yesterday so I took out some watercolors and just started painting shapes and well this led up to this fun card today. I did not plan it, this just happened and I might just have to do a few more.... what do you think? Be honest, I can take it. LOL
Card designed using...
- Pink & Main: Layered Scallops A2 Rectangle Dies
- Pink & Main: Sparkle Gems
- Misc. watercolors
- Foam Tape
Create card from white cardstock A2 size.
Cut a piece of watercolor paper, same size as card front. Take some watercolors and just start painting different shapes. Go wild and make it colorful. Make sure to let dry completely before adhering to your card base.
Die cut the larger of the Rectangles on vellum.
Die cut the HI sentiment on patterned paper and adhere to the vellum using foam tape.
Die cut the FRIEND sentiment on black cardstock three times and adhere them together, then adhere to the HI sentiment.
Turn the vellum over and add ahesive only to the part where the HI shows through. You don't want adhesive to be shown on the vellum of your card.
Finishing with a few of those fun Sparkle Gems.
There you go... different and colorful. What do you think?

Hi Friend! I like the spontaneous look of this card. At first I didn't see the HI but when I did the card was even more interesting to me. Well done!
