Thanks a Melon...

Happy Sunday blog friends. Today we had some relax time and well I decided to play along with the Tyalored Expressions sketch challenge. I just got this stencil and well I had to ink it up. I mean who doesn't love watermelon.... right?

Card designed using....

  • Taylored Expressions: One in A Melon stencil/clear combo
  • Tutti Frutti stamp/dies
  • Open Scallop Circle dies
  • The Stamp Market: Fuchsia, Peony and Citrine inks

Create card from white cardstock A2 size.

Stencil the One in A Melon stencil twice, once on your card base and once on a separate piece of white cardstock. The stenciled melons on the separate piece, trim down to 2 1/4 x 5. Cut a piece of green cardstock 2 1/2 x 5 1/4. Adhere the stenciled melons to the green cardstock using foam tape and add to the card on the left side.

Die cut the Open Scallop Circle on a piece of pink cardstock and adhere to the card using foam and liquid glue. Die cut the circle from the Open Scallop Circle on white cardstock and adhere to the center of the pink scalloped circle using foam tape.

Stamp out this adorable melon from the Tutti Frutti stamp set on a separate piece of white cardstock and color using your favorite medium. Die cut the image out using the coordinating die and adhere to the center of the circle using liquid glue.

Stamp out the sentiment on a separate piece of white cardstock using black ink, trim down and adhere to the card using liquid and foam tape.

Finishing with a little white gel pen here and there.

Lots of cute watermelons on one card... what more could we ask for... Right? I love this stencil and that little melon is just a special add.

That is all for today.

I hope to be able to share more this week.

Have a wonderful Sunday!
