Hello blog friends.. yay! it is Friday and I am really late with my post today but I am so happy I finally finished this star filled card. Now before I get started I must point out that I know my rainbow colors and yes I accidentally glued the purple before the blue but did not notice until it was dry.... darn!.. but I figured it was fine to still use it. I really did not want to start over so here ya go....
Today's card was created using Lawn Fawn:
- Star Border die
- Puffy Star Stackables dies
- Super Star stamp set
Create card from white cardstock A2 size.
Die cut the Star border on all colors of the rainbow colored cardstock. Die cut the star outlines on glittered cardstock to match your solid stars colors. Luckily I had all the colors of glitter. Adhere the outline to the top of the solid stars and make sure to let dry completely before handling again.
Adhere the stars to your card to create your rainbow star background. (remember to watch which color you adhere or else you will do what I did.. LOL)
Die cut the second largest of the Puffy Star stackable dies on white cardstock.
Stamp out your images on white cardstock and color them using your favorite medium. I had to fussy cut the images out, which take no time at all. But if you have the coordinating dies.... use them LOL
Now time to create your scene on your puffy star. I used some foam tape here and there for a little dimension. I also used some of the stars that die cut from the glittered cardstock. Don't want to waste those fun sparkly stars.
Stamp the first part of your sentiment directly onto your puffy star using black ink. Stamp the other half of the sentiment on a separate piece of white cardstock and trim down. Color the sentiment using your favorite medium.
Add some foam tape to the back of the Puffy Star scene and adhere it to you card.
Add some foam tape to half of the STAR sentiment and over lap it half way onto the puffy star. Use liquid glue on the part that touched the star.
There you go a star filled card with rainbow colors that are not in the right order.. LOL It was a fun card to create.... I mean who doesn't love all that glitter.. right?

Oh WOW! I really love the rainbow star background! It goes perfectly with the astronomer mouse. I am going to look for the dies you used and the mouse stamp set too! Thanks for sharing.
