Happy Wednesday blog friends... This past weekend I participated in the Scrapbook & Cards Crop & Create Delivered. I have done it two years in a row now and have to say it is awesome. They send the most awesome stamps/stencils/ink/etc... and the classes are amazing.
So today I am sharing a card created using some of the goodies I received in the classes. I am using product from LDRS Creative and Crafters Companion. This set is not available yet and not sure if it will remain exclusive or not.
Supplies used...
- LDRS Creative: Training Hummingbirds Stamp/Dies/Stencils
- LDRS Creative: My Wish For You Stamp Set
- Crafters Companion: Liquid Glue
- Crafters Companion: Gold Gliding Flakes
- Taylored Expressions: Gold Glitter Drops
Create card from white cardstock A2 size.
The patterned paper is from Crafters Companion. The design on the designer paper has lines. Take the CC Liquid Glue and a fine paint brush and put some glue on all the lines and let dry completely. The glue will remain tacky when it is dry. When it is dry take some of the CC Gold Gliding Flakes and rub them across the dried glue. You will see that the flakes will stick to the glue lines and only to the glue lines. Creates for a fun background.
Stamp out these lovely LDRS Creative images on white cardstock using black ink and color them using your favorite medium. Die cut the images using the coordinating dies. Add some foam tape to the back and add them to your card.
Stamp out the sentiment using Embossing ink and heat emboss gold powder. Trim around the sentiment and add some foam tape to the back and adhere to the card.
Finishing with a few of those pretty Gold Glittered Drops from Taylored Expressions.
Are you loving all the gold too? I have had gold flakes around for years now and never thought of using them like this. You might just start seeing more GOLD in my projects. LOL
