YAY! for Friday and another Lawn Fawn card. Yes, I have pulled out the LF and I just seen that Chari has some more fun patterns for us to stitched so I downloaded them and well of course the Santa as the first one I stitched. Don't you just love him? If you have not seen the free downloads, check them out on the LF website.
Lawn Fawn supplies used:
- Embroidery Hoop Die
- Stitched Snowflake Frame Die
- Winter Springs Background Stencils
- Winter Scripty Sentiments
Create card from white cardstock A2 size.
Cut a white panel A2 size and stencil this fun Winter Springs Background using green, red, blue and brown inks. Adhere the panel to your card base using liquid glue.
Die cut the solid circle Embroidery Hoop on white cardstock, the hoop frame on green cardstock and the little tool on red cardstock. Use the pattern from the LF site and follow the instructions to create this adorable Santa. I went with green today but you can really use any colors you like. Once you are done stitched the santa, adhere the frame around the edges of the circle using liquid glue.
Die cut the Stitched Snowflake Frame on white cardstock and adhere it to the back of our cute Santa using liquid glue. Only glue the edges, we don't want glue showing through.
Add some foam tape to the back of the snowflake along the circle part and adhere it to your card.
Add a few fun shinny gems around the hoop. I used Spellbinders Color Essentials Gems.
Stamp out the sentiment on green cardstock using embossing ink and heat emboss in white. Trim around the edges, add some foam tape to the back and adhere it to your card.
I wish you would see it in person, because it is so much prettier in person. I hope you like it as much as I do. There are lots of patterns on the LF site so make sure to check them out.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Have a wonderful Friday.
Remember to smile today.
