Forever...

Happy Tuesday everyone. The new year has started and I really have not done much. LOL I have started my new year being lazy. But I am finding my motivation to get my act together. Do you ever feel like that. I think it is the weather. It has been cold and when it is cold you just want to stay home and be cozy and warm. That is what I call lazy.

But it is a new week and I am back with another fun Valentines cards. Today I am getting crafty with Taylored Expressions:
  • Forever & Ever Stamp/Die combo
  • Open Scallop Circle Die
  • Mini Slim Diagonal Strips
  • Petite Scallop Mini Slim Stacklets
  • Half A Heart Layered Stencil
I also used:
  • Pink & Main: Stop Sign Colored Cardstock
  • Lawn Fawn: Lobster and Bubblegum
  • Pink & Main: Embossing Ink Pad
  • Altenew: Antique Gold Embossing Powder

Create card from dark pink cardstock measuring 3 1/2 x 6 (mini slimline).

Die cut the biggest die from the Petite Scallop Mini Slim Sticklets on white cardstock and adhere it to your card base.

On a piece of white cardstock, stencil the Half A Heart Layered Stencil using the inks listed above. This is three stencils, when you get to the last stencil instead of inking it with color we are going to add some embossing ink to it. I used a brush but when adding the embossing ink tap the ink on do not rub the brush over the stencil. We do not want the embossing powder to get under the stencil and that can happen if you rub instead of tap the ink on. When you are done adding the embossing ink add your gold embossing powder and heat to activate.

Die cut the Mini Slim Diagonal Strips on the stenciled background AND a piece of red cardstock. I used Pink & Main Stop Sign.

Adhere the frame of the RED Mini Slim Diagonal Strips on the scalloped white background. Now adhere the stenciled strips only to the inside of the frame of the red diagonal. We will not be using the frame of the stenciled die cut.

Die cut the Open Scallop Circle die on white cardstock. Keep the die on top of the cardstock and use a blending brush and ink blend a little of that Lobster ink about halfway up the circle. Remove the die and see how it only added ink in the inside of the circle.

Stamp out this adorable image from the Forever & Ever stamp set and color it using your favorite medium. Die cut the image using the coordinating die. Add some foam tape to the back and adhere it to the center of your scallop circle.

Add foam tape to the back of the scallop circle and adhere it to your card.

Finishing with a little sparkle using misc. sequins here and there.

Sentiment stamped in the inside of card. (I did not take photo of that)

Hearts and more hearts with a cute image. Simple card and oh so fun to create.

Thank you for stopping by.
Have an awesome day.
