Happy Friday Bella Blvd friends... Annette Allen here with you today and I am sharing from the new Meow collection. I love showing you all how to use these collections on other projects. My main focus is cards and I always have fun creating with all the Bella Blvd collection. Today I am sharing two cards, one that shows you how to use your scraps and the other has a little interaction element, so let's get started.
Don't throw those scraps away, create a background using all those strips you cut off.
Create card from white cardstock A2 size.
Cut 1/2 or 1 inch strips of all the papers in the Meow collection and adhere them to a white A2 panel using liquid glue. Layer them and let them go in all sorts of directions. Leave a little white space here and there. Adhere the panel to your card base once you are happy with the background you have created.
Cut 3 squares measuring 1 3/4 (two on the Meow papers) and (1 on pink cardstock). Adhere the two designer paper squares together using foam tape but off set them when you adhere them together. Now adhere the third square using liquid glue, make sure to also off set this square too.
Create a sentiment from the Ciao Chip and adhere it to the center of your fun square design.
Let's also add the red heart from the Tweet Tweet Bella-Pop.
Don't you just love all those fun patterns together? No need to pick one, use them all.
Peek a boo... cute kittens warming.
Create card from white cardstock A2 size.
Cut an A2 panel of The Sweetest Clear Cuts and adhere it to the white A2 panel. Now adhere that panel to your card base.
Die cut or machine cut an A2 panel with 4 windows on the That Face backer paper. Adhere this panel to the card using tear tape.
Machine cut or die cut one square and one rectangle that measures the same as your open windows. You can hand cut or if you have a die that creates windows that open, go ahead use them for this peekaboo card. Adhere those frames to your card, but don't adhere your windows that open down, so we can open them.
Pick out from the Meow Ephemera some cute images that you would like to be under your windows and adhere them inside using tear tape.
For the lower right window I cut out the cat from the Daily Details paper. Adhere this cute cat using foam tape for a little dimension. Let's also add the MEOW talking bubble from the Ephemera Icons.
Finishing with the scalloped circle from the Doohickey stickers. I added foam tape to the back and adhered it to the card.
Two simple cards with a little window action. So many fun ways to use this collection and the fun part is putting all the elements together to create a card for tell a story on a scrapbook page.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Have a day full of smiles.
