It's a month long celebration of America and the My Life 365 collection has all that you need to create and capture all those 4th of July memories. Create a card and celebrate with a friend or create a scrapbook page to capture a happy memory.
Let's do a few layers, shall we?
Create card from white cardstock A2 size.
Cut a panel measuring 4 x 5 1/4 on the Bella Besties Gingham and Stripes Mcintosh paper and adhere to the card using liquid glue.
Cut a panel measuring 3 3/4 x 5 on the July paper in the My Life 365 collection. Adhere to the card using liquid glue.
Cut out the tag on the July paper that says Party in the USA and add some foam tape to the back and add to the center of the card at an angle.
Die a bow out of some burlap string or any string that you own and adhere it to the top of the tag where the hole would be. No need to punch it out as you will not see it.
Pick one smaller firework from the Parade bella-pop and add it to the center of your bow on the tag.
Pick one of the stars from the Parade bella-pop and add it to the center of the firework on the bow.
Finishing with the ice cream bar from the Ephemera Icons, add some foam tape to the back and adhere it to the right hand side of the tag.
Super simple and oh so fun.... don't you think?
Let's keep the layers going, but this time in smaller pieces.
Create card from white cardstock A2 size.
Cut some small squares and rectangle shapes on the My Life 365 July papers and the Bella Besties Gingham & Stripes Blueberry paper. I cut a total of 8 pieces,
Take those squares and rectangles and start layering/overlapping them and adhere to the card base using liquid glue. You can pre-lay your card design before adhering to the card. There is no rules to this design. Just play with the patterns until you are happy. If you need to trim while designing that works too.
Die cut or machine cut a round tag measuring 2 1/4 inches on the July paper with the 4th and stars going around it. As seen in my photos. Add some foam tape to the back and adhere to the right side center of the card.
Take some burlap string and rap the center of the card a few times and leaving some extra for trying the bow on the tag.
Find the Red, White and Boom! from the Ephemera Words and adhere it to the lower part of the tag using foam tape.
Finishing with a few of those fun epoxy dots here and there.
Now we have two cards with lots of layering fun.
Thank you so much for stopping by today.
I hope you are inspired to celebrate with a card and/or a scrapbook page.
