My Friend...

Good Morning All....Hope you are starting out your morning good.  I am drinking coffee and have just made this card this morning.  I was up at 5 am...was not feel good but am better now that I am up.  Do you ever have those mornings?  Well I am just glad it is looking up.  

I was looking around blog-land this morning and decided to join in on the The Crafts Meow March Sketch Challenge..I just love this sketch and I wish I had some of there stamps.  I have not joined a sketch challenge for a while now.  So I think today and tomorrow will be challenge days for me.  I hope that you enjoy my card.  If you want to join in you still have two more days.

Recipe:  The Greeting Farm stamps, Versafine Onyx Black ink pad, Colorbox Chalk inkpad, Ranger accents and stickles, Echo Park designer paper, Neenah white card-stock, Spellbinders Die cut, My Minds Eye ribbon and tissue and Jenni Bowlin Range Speckled Egg ink pad.  

I am also entering this card into:  Simon Says Stamp Challenge...Anything Goes

My beautiful Bird of Paradise bloomed today.

  7. Hope you're feeling better now! I had a pleasant day, went shopping with a friend (-: Bought two big coffee cups, so my frothed milk will fit in totally. I love cappuccino/latte macchiato

    Your card is absolutely stunning! Love the butterflies, colours, stamp and fonts.

  11. This is sooo pretty with the polka dot butterfly and wonderful color combo!! I love how you used the tissue and ribbon, too!!! Your bird of paradise is gorgeous, Annette!!! We went to Hawaii a few years ago and I brought some seeds back with me but they didn't grow...what a bummer!!!

    I hear you on the not feeling well - blech. Yesterday I was up in the night and then up again by 4...makes for a super long day, even after you're feeling better!

  20. Sweet card! Love that tissue and the polka dotted butterfly! Birds of Paradise are my mom's favorite flower (she grew up in Indonesia), but we just can't grow that kind of stuff here on the east coast, at least not very easily. Have a great weekend!
