City Life...

Just the city life..How cute are these stamps.  I just got them from Unity Stamp Co., they are the New stamps by Clever Handmade.  I love the little cars.  This stamp set reminds me of CA because you are always sitting in traffic and we are always saying I'm on my way.  I made this card for the Unity Stamp Co. Company Door/Windows Challenge.

Recipe:  Unity Stamp Co. Clever Handmade On My Way, Copic Sketch Markers, Target washi tape, Memento tuxedo black ink pad, Twinery Twine, Spellbinders die cut, Neenah white card-stock and Recollection foam adhesives.
I hope that you are having the same weather as us...the sun is shinning, the birds are chirping and there is a slight breeze flowing through the windows.  I kept hearing this amazing beautiful bird just singing away outside and I had to check it out.  So I took a picture of him.  I think he was posing for the picture.
It was music to my ears... I guess I should share that I love to take pictures of birds.  I also got one of a hummingbird but he was next to an ugly wall and did not look very cute.  But we have tons of hummingbirds around my house and I plan to get the little fella again in a more pretty setting.

Well thanks for stopping by.
Have a crafty day.

  13. Oh, these cars are so cute. Fabulous card, Annette. You are so amazing! Love what you do with paper, stamps and ... TWINE...

Unfortunaly the weather here is not as good as yours. 8 degrees, far to cold. We had temperatures around 20 degrees two weeks ago. I want them back...
But the birds sing as well. Love to hear them chirping!
    Enjoy the day!

    Happy Easter. Jesus is risen!
    Bye for now,

  21. I love all the amazing detail in your card, and the inspiration for it - reminds me of when we lived in Vancouver too. Always gridlock. Now if there are more than 4 cars waiting at the light we think "uh oh, must be something up ahead there."
Super sweet bird - I can't imagine getting a picture of a hummingbird! I stick with the slow-moving fowl ;) lol
