Colorado Living....

Good Morning everyone.
I am back and ready to start blogging again. We have unpacked most of our boxes but are a little cramped in our little apartment. We are expected to get a Land Lot this weekend and hope to have our new home in 7-8 months. I have to say it was a trial moving. Lots of emotions with leaving CA, but lots of excitement moving to CO. I look forward to meeting all my new CO crafty friends. I have been here now for 7 days and it feels like a month. The drive was NOT SO FUN but we made it safely and I am grateful. I had a few crying moments but God comforted my heart and I was good. God is awesome.

Colorado is just as I remember it. I love how KIND and PEACEFUL life is here.
Big change from California. We look forward to finding our new church and a new adventure.

So I leave you with a few pictures from my new place...

Most important...
My Craft Room
A work in progress.. Still getting organized.

This is my view from my balcony.
These are the killer stairs.
When we seen these, we hired some movers to move us in.
I told my husband there is NO WAY.
Want to lose weight? Rent this apartment. hee hee

Thanks for stopping by.
Have a wonderful day.

  16. There is no way I would have unpacked as much as you did. I have moved so many times in my life and learned so much each time. But your younger and have the energy. Ha! I've done the stair thing too. I read that every time you climb a flight of stairs you add 7 years to your life. So climb! Ha!

  21. Moving is so emotionally draining - and being physically exhausted brings that out some! Big moves like that are hard, and I'm really glad you're getting settled in already! I'd still be laying at the bottom of those stairs..after having fallen down them, lol!

  28. Annette, I can so relate to everything you said. I cried a bit each time I have moved recently and finally I believe I am here to stay. We plan to buy a small condo in florida and I will furnish it THERE!!! No more moving!! I was probably the saddest when i left my new house. I don't deal with change well so each time was difficult for me. We had stairs in our townhome which was one of the reasons I couldn't wait to move. Getting older and they are steep stairs like yours and so thankful we had movers to load and unload the furniture. It was a job just us doing the boxes. Your room looks awesome. So glad you are getting settled and it looks like a beautiful scenery around you! Big hugs!

  29. Hang in there, moving is a challenge and it is always hard to make a big life change. I, for one, are thrilled you've moved here! I hope you love it and find a wonderful home base church soon. *hugs*
