Pinecone Fun...

Yay it is Thursday. We had such a great time at Disneyland last night. It was so packed with people. We had no idea that there are schools already out for Christmas/New Years break. When you don't have kids you just do not know these things. But it was still fun.

Today I created a card using The Greetery: BotaniCuts Pine Bough Die and Knit Wits Stencil. These are my first sets from this newer company.

Can you see the pinecone dimension? This is all part of the die set. When I seen them I just knew I had to have them. I have NOT been disappointed. Totally fun to create. I did a little Copic Opaque splatter along with some of Ranger Oxide inks. I did not stop there, I also added a little sparkle with some fake snow.

This Knit Wits Stencil comes in three pieces, so you have to layer them. I totally love it. I can think of so many ways to use this stencil. You will see it again... maybe soon. I finished up with a simple sentiment from My Favorite Things. I almost was thinking of not adding a sentiment to the card and just leaving it blank. But I thought this one fit perfectly.

Do you plan your cards out before you create them? I have tried that and it just does not work for me. I just pull stuff out as I craft. Let's just say that creating a card can sure take me some time at times. There is just no plan ever.....

That is all for today.
Thank you so much for stopping by.
Have an awesome day!
