Protea Hello...

Happy Monday everyone. Today is the day of rest while my husband is at work. We have been painting our ceilings and I have to say that is hard work. Plus you have to do two coats in each room plus paint all the edges. I have to say it looks much better but dang should have hired someone. But let's get real here, we are too cheap to hired anyone. LOL

Time to get to the fun stuff. Today I have a card that I created using Erin Lee Creative: Protea Background stamp and MFT Stamps: Hello die-namics.

This card was inspired by Kathy Racoosin. I love how she creates backgrounds and she usually colors in the negative space. So I have it a try and it was fun to color. NOT even close to her amazing designs but fun to be inspired to try something new.

I colored this card using Copic sketch markers and used a white gel pen. You don't need much to create this card, it is just lots of coloring. If you love to color you will enjoy making a card like this. I finished up with a simple sentiment that is die cut.

Well, that is all that I have for you today. I am off to make some design team projects. I cant wait to share those with you.

Thanks for stopping by.
Have the most awesome day!
Remember to smile today...

  2. Oh, that's a very pretty card. I especially love the color combinations and the shading. I like real protea colors but yours are more pleasing to me.
