Taylored Expressions: Christmas Tags

Yay! for Friday. Christmas is next week. Who's ready to open their gifts? But first we must have cute gift tags to decorate your gifts with. So today I am sharing some gift tags that I created using Taylored Expressions.

First up we have this adorable Gus & Gurtie Holiday set that I just had to use. First I die cut two of the TE Tag Stacklets and set one aside for the other tag. I used the die as a border when adding my ink for the background. Just keep your die on top of the die cut piece and add your ink.

Next I used the Let It Snow Layering stencil and added a few snowflakes here and there. I splattered a little Copic opaque for the snow affect. I stamped the adorable image and die cut with the coordinating die set and colored with Copic Sketch markers then adhered to my tag using foam adhesives. I stamped out the two sentiments one on this cute Sentiment Strip Duo die.

I thought it need a little shine so I used some or Ranger Stickles here and there. Finishing up with added an eyelet and some twine.

I added the ink the same as the first but this time I overlaid my stencil on top and added these fun Candy Cane strips. I also added some Copic Opaque for the snow affect. I stamped the Merry Millie images out and colored with Copic Sketch markers and die cut with the coordinating die set. I stamped out the two sentiments one on the Sentiment Strip Duo die cut piece. I used foam adhesives to adhere my image and also added some Ranger Stickles for a little shine.

Finishing up with adding the eyelet and twine. Now they are both ready to be added to a gift.

You still have time to create some cute Christmas tags to add to your gifts. Plus they are just fun to create. Make sure to follow Taylored Expressions for more inspiration.

Thanks for stopping by.
Have an awesome weekend!

  2. These have to be my favorite tags of the season. I love everything about them! The total look is fabulous. Thanks for explaining how you made them too as I am a copycat. Don't worry there is no way I could make mine as perfect as yours and I plan to use other cute images and funny sayings. LOL! Keep inspiring!
