Pretty Peony...

YAY! it is Saturday and I am on the Pink & Main blog HERE. I am sharing a couple of cards that I created using Pink & Main: Pretty Peony stamp and coordinating die set, Mask It Oval stencil and Flora Stencil.

I went for a couple of simple cards today so lets get started...

First up we have a card that I created using the Flora stencil, Mask It Oval and Mini Ergonomic Blending Brush. First i added the Oval from the Mask it Oval stencil and used a removal adhesive and adhered it to my card base, then placed the Flora stencil right on top. The Oval stencil will mask that area from getting stenciled. I used misc. ink pads to add a little color with the Mini Ergonomic Blending Brush.

Next I stamped out the Pretty Peony image and decided to keep it black and white. I really stands out with this color stenciled background. So I added some foam adhesives and adhered it to my card base. Finishing up with stamping this pretty sentiment and die cutting with the coordinating dies. I also used foam adhesives for dimension.

I repeated the process as above but I only used two colors for my background. You can see how the look changes a little with less color but still really stands out with this pretty Flora stencil.
