Taylored Expressions: In the Abstract Cardmaking Kit Release...

Happy Tuesday everyone.
It is time for another fun kit release from Taylored Expressions
This kit is full of Abstract fun and available while supplies last.

Abstract Accents is such a beautiful kit and today I am sharing just three ways that this kit can be used but the possibilities are endless.

First up I cut a piece of Taylored Expressions Toffee card-stock, but left it slightly smaller then my card base because I wanted the white trim around. I used the Abstract Accents stencil and stamp combo to create this background. I wanted warm colors on the Toffee background so I used TE Oreo, Buttercream Frosting Dijon with my TE Blender Brushes. I stamped a couple of the images from the clear set then die cut these Subtle Sprigs on TE Buttercream Frosting card-stock. Finishing up with stamping the sentiment from the Beautiful Soul stamp set directly onto the card using Oreo ink.

This card I die cut the Branch Out and Subtle Sprig on TE Pink Champagne, Sprinkles, Cookie Monster and Jelly Donut. I adhered them to my card base using nearly Art Precision Craft Glue. I stamped one of the images from the Abstract Accent clear set with Oreo ink.

I then heat embossed this beautiful sentiment from the Beautiful Soul stamp set using TE Fine Detail white embossing powder. I die cut around the sentiment using the Mini Slim Trifold Hexagon die and adhered it to my card using foam adhesives.

I went with a softer pallet for this one. I love pastel colors so I used TE Pink Champagne, Mint Julep, Sprinkles and Lemon Meringue with my TE Pastel and Blender Brushes. To keep the colors light I would lightly ink the Blender Brushes and used a light hand when adding the ink with the Abstract Accents stencils.

I then die cut a few of the Branch Out dies on TE Strawberry Milkshake, Toffee and Confetti Cake cardstock. I added them using Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue. I tied a little bow out of the burlap string and added to the stems of the Branches.

Finishing up with stamping the Beautiful Soul sentiment on a piece of Lavender Glaze and die cutting it using the Window Circle Frames dies. I adhered the sentiment using foam adhesives for a little dimension.

Thanks for stopping by.
Happy Taylored Expressions Shopping!

  3. You made some lovely cards with the kit. I'm impressed by the possibilities. The neutral colored card is very attractive even though it is very different from your usual colorful, cheerful cards. Thanks for sharing.
