Raining like cats and dogs outside today. Perfect day for crafting. I love seeing all the rain fall. I feel like taking a nap now. LOL but before I do I have to share the card that I just created.
Today's card was created using The Stamp Market: Dotted Tree die and Hello Bluebird Be Merry die.
The background was created using a piece of misc. designer paper. I then die cut the Dotted Tree out and stitched in the design also doing a few french knots. I die cut the tree again and adhered it to my background because of all the string. It gave me a flat background to adhered it to my card.
I then die cut the Be Merry die twice and adhered the two together. I overlaid them, with a little of the lighter color peeking out from behind. This gives the highlight look we all love. I also used a gel pen here and there.
I felt I was missing something so I took out some Copic Opaque and sprinkled here and there. Now we are done.
Very simple, just a bit of stitching. But that is the fun part.... right?
