Create in Quads....

LONG POST alert... So Taylored Expressions came out with Create in Quads Layering Stencils. I believe there are a few now but I just purchased my first one. I got the Hearts stencil and I have to say what a cool invention. I am so impressed.

So in this set there are 4 full size stencils. You will need a full sheet of card-stock for this stencil to create all 4 designs. You just have to pick your colors.

So all 4 cards being shared today have been created using the Quads layering stencil. So I cut each design apart so I can start creating my cards. Oh before I go on I also added Copic Opaque on each stencil before lifting them up. This puts the opaque only in the stenciled areas.

I also used TE Big Grumpy stamp/die set and Big Grumpy Valentine stamp/die. The image is colored using Copic Sketch markers and the stenciled background was added using Ranger Oxide Inks: Wilted Violet, Worn Lipstick, Picked Raspberry and Shaded Lilac.

This is 2 of 4 of the Quard Hearts designs. All used with the same links and opaque. I also usedLove From Max & Millie stamp/die and Handlettered Love stamp/die combos.

The image is colored using Copic Sketch markers and added using foam adhesives for a little dimension.

3 of 4 and really how much are you loving these fun backgrounds?

I can't help myself with these funny sentiments... So I also used Big Grumpy Cat stamp/die and Big Grumpy Valentine stamp. I added the image using foam adhesives for a little dimension. Background created with the same colors and opaque.

4 of 4...

This one I treated a little different. I stamped the TE Gingham Check Background on my card base using the same color palette. With this stenciled background I actually fussy cut around the design and added it to my stamped background using foam adhesives.

I also used the On The Block Love stamp/die and Building Blocks Happy Additions stamp/dies.

Lots of cards with one stencil and I have to say that I am a fan. This will not be my last one that I purchase... that's for sure.

Sorry for the long post but I felt like I had to post them all together. Plus I was excited to share them with you all. They were so fun to create.

That is all for today.

Thank you so much for stopping by.
