Enjoy the Ride...

Hello sweet blog friends. Well I have to admit my little cold turned into a big cold and well after a LONG weekend of not feeling well today I am on the mend. I have not been in my craft room for days and this is just NOT NORMAL. So today was a good day to hang out in my craft room and try and create a card.

I was successful but I have to admit this card took me over an hour to create. My mind is just mush. Funny how after being sick your mind is restarting... LOL at least mine has too. The older you get.... right????

I am also entering the LawnFawnatics Lots of Hearts challenge..

Today's card was create using Lawn Fawn:

  • Sunny Skies stamp set
  • Oh Gnome stamp set
  • Bicycle Built for You stamp/die set
  • Misc mini heart stencil
  • Waffle Flower Crafts Color Story inks Chirp Chirp, You Said What?, New Fish In Pond, Happy Go Lucky and My Pleasure (such fun names for inks)
I started with the mini heart stencil, sorry don't know who makes it because I have had it for years and it lost its packaging along the way. I used the Waffle Flower Crafts inks with the stencil and then sprinkled a little Copic Opaque here and there.

I then stamped out all my images and started coloring with Copic Sketch markers. I had some of the coordinating dies but not for all so I had to do a little fussy cutting.

Now time to layer up all these fun images on my heart background. I did not really have a plan I just started glueing here and there. A little foam adhesives here and there for some dimension.

Finishing up with stamping this sweet sentiment from the Bicycle Built for You stamp set.

That is REALLY all for today.
Tomorrow will be better... I am sure of it.

Thank you for stopping by.
Have an awesome day!

  2. Even when you're sick you still manage to create a very pretty card. That's talent! Are you sure you didn't get Covid? Your symptoms sound like the milder Omnicron virus. Take care and keep posting if you feel up to it. Hugs!
