LOVED...

Hello blog friends... can you believe I am posting two days in a row? These are not even design team post. I have been looking through my crafty supplies and had to use some of the older stuff I have. This card was created using...

  • Altenew: You Are Loved die
  • Concord & 9th: Hooray Rubbon dies
  • Inks: Concord & 9th (Midnight, Honeysuckle, Oceanside and Aqua Sky) My Favorite Things (Fire Coral) Hero Arts (Green Apple and Fresh Lawn)

I started with just running the mini ink pads directly onto my white cardstock.  I then sprinkled a little Copic Opaque on the entire background. I think this just highlights the colors a bit more.

I then die cut the Hooray Ribbon dies twice on white cardstock and then repeated the same ink process that I did for the background. I just did not add any Copic opaque. I adhered the die cuts to two of the corners of the card and trimmed at the edge.

The same Hooray Ribbon die also cuts this little inner edge, so I cut it once on colored cardstock. The one was enough to fit into both circles, being that you only use part of it.

Now time for the Altenew sentiment. I die cut it once on black cardstock and three times on white cardstock. I adhered them all together leaving a hint of the white behind the black so it highlights the sentiment. I took a white gel pen and added a few highlight lines here and there. This is also another way to highlight your letters when using a dark cardstock.

So no stamping today... just dies and inks. This card took me a while, just because I did not know where it was going in the design. I actually stared at it for a few or 10 mins. LOL but it worked out. What do you think? It is different, but don't you just love all those colors together?

That is all for today.

I appreciate you stopping by.

Have a day full of smiles.
