Joy...

Today I am on the ScrapbookPal blog HERE and I am sharing two cards with you today featuring the new Spellbinders Stitched Joy and Stitched Ornament dies. I know we all have Christmas on the brain and these dies are amazing for creating gorgeous Christmas cards, so let’s get started.

Create a card from card-stock (A2) using white card-stock.

I started with die cutting both of these amazing dies on white cardstock and then picked out some of my favorite colors that I like to create with for Christmas. I am a little non-tradition when it comes to color combos for Christmas. The stitching takes a little while but so worth it when it is completed.

I then cut a piece of white cardstock A2 size and embossed it using Spellbinders Dazzling Dots embossing folder. I then adhered it to my card base and added the stitched Joy using Scrapbook Adhesives 3D Foam Squares. The dimension is needed because of the stitching behind the die cut.

I also added a strip of gold cardstock at the top and bottom also using Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue.

You are not done yet... let’s finish the Stitched Ornament.

Pick more of that colorful embroidery string and using a needle stitched this gorgeous ornament.

Cut another A2 size piece of cardstock, this time on a piece of colored cardstock and emboss it with the Dazzling Dots embossing folder. Then adhere it to your card base using Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue.

Added the stitched Ornament to your card also using Scrapbook Adhesives 3D Foam Squares. Die cut the leaves twice, once one white and once on silver glitter cardstock. Add them to your card using Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue and finish with adding some Burlap string.

Two beautiful Christmas cards and they are full of stitching fun. Get colorful with your Christmas cards and have fun creating them.
