In My Heart...

Happy Thursday everyone... today I am using more of those oldies but goodies stamps and dies. These sets have been around for a long time and I am glad that I kept them because I do still love them.

Today's card was created using Mama Elephant:

  • Slim Tags Trio dies
  • Madison Ave Framed Tags dies
  • Playful Pups stamp set

Create card from white cardstock A2 size.

Cut a piece of white cardstock the same size as your card base. Die cut or cut strips of 1/4 in different colors and adhere them to the white cardstock using liquid or double sided sheets.

Die cut the Madison Ave Framed Tags on the colorful striped background. Keep the center of the die cut, we will use that again. Take the frame that you just die cut and add some foam tape to the back and adhere it to the card base.

Take a small patterned stencil, I used a misc. tiny hearts stencil. Lightly add the stenciled patterned with pink ink to the center of the frame and card base. It does not have to be perfectly stencils. As you can see it is very light and not perfect on my card.

Die cut the Tags from the Madison Ave Framed Tags set. Die cut the one with the circle on white cardstock and the solid tag on the striped background that was left over from the die cut frame. Add some foam tape to the back of the white tag and adhere it to the striped tag. Adhere the tag to the card using liquid glue.

Die cut the little bow from the Slim Tags Trio dies on the extra striped background and adhere it to the top of the tag where the hole is.

Stamp this adorable dog from the Playful Pups stamp set and color using your favorite medium. Die cut using the coordinating dies or fussy cut the image and adhere it to the tag. You will need liquid glue and a small piece of foam tape when you adhere the pup to the tag.

Finishing with the sentiment stamped directly onto the card base using black ink.

This little dog set is one of my most favorites and I can't believe I have not used it in years. Take advantage of those sets you have just sitting in your collection. Ink or die cut them up and get crafty with them.

That is all for today.

Have a wonderful Thursday..
Remember to smile.
