Christmas Tree..

Today is shaker card day... well it is not officially shaker day BUT on my blog it is. I went to the Stamp & Scrapbook Expo and I picked up this really cool stencil. The expo was really small but I found a couple of things. I think I spend less than $20 bucks but I seen lots of other crafters with bags full. I seen a few crafty friends from online.

Are you all on Christmas now? or still in the Fall season? I always seem to skip Fall and go straight to winter, which to me means Christmas... yay!

Today's card was created using... (click on links to go directly to item) (affiliate links)

Create card from white cardstock A2 size.

Cut a piece of Black Polka Dot designer paper A2 size and place the PhotoPlay: Joy, Hope and Peace Stencil. If you don't have a polka dot piece of designer paper you can just stencil this fun design on a piece of white cardstock. I used PinkFresh Studio: EucalyptusBegoniaParadise and Citron Premium Dye Inks. These are the new ink colors and as you can see they are a must have.... I love all the new colors, I just had to through that in. LOL Adhere your background to your card base.

Stencil the PhotoPlay: Joy, Hope and Peace Stencil again on a separate piece of white cardstock using PinkFresh Studio Eucalyptus and Paradise. Now die cut the Papertrey Ink: Shaker Shapes Tree. This set comes with the solid tree and the open tree. Die cut the open tree on the stenciled background. Die cut the solid tree on a piece of Hero Arts: Acetate. Adhere the acetate tree to the back of the open tree.

Die cut the open tree again on some of Pink & Main: Foam Sheets, it will cut the entire design so you don't have to piece a bunch of foam tape along the back. This will line up perfectly and give you solid cover so no sequins can get loose.

Add some sequins to the center of your stenciled background. Form a skinny line of sequins so your tree can be placed right over them. Remove the foam tape protection strip and add it to your card base. Now shake it up and see the fun sequins be happy in their little home.

Die cut the lights from the Papertrey Ink: Shaker Shapes Tree set on white cardstock, add a little ink to the lights and adhere to the lights to the tree. Add a little of Pink & Main: Touch of Gloss to the lights and let dry completely. This adds a little shine.

All done and now we have a fun tree shaker card.... don't you just love that cool stenciled background. I mean how fun is that script. Such a fun card to create, I hope you like it.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Have the most awesome Monday!
