Hello hello blog friends.. Today I am on the Heffy Doodle Instagram page and I am sharing this fun Christmas shaker card full of snowflakes and yummy sequins.
Heffy Doodle supplies used:
- Sparkle Mix like Sugar Plum
- Sparkle Mix Whipped Cream
- Metric Storyboard Backdrop die
- Snow Storm Stencil
- Scripty Merry Christmas Shadow die
Create card from white cardstock A2 size.
Cut a white panel A2 size and stencil this fun Snow Storm Stencil using pinks and purples.
Die cut the Metric Storyboard Backdrop die on the Snow Storm background. Save all your pieces.
Cut another white panel A2 size and glue down the negative pieces from the Metric Storyboard Backdrop that you just die cut. Use the frame to help line up your pieces but DO NOT adhere the frame yet.
Cut a piece of acetate and adhere to the Metric Storyboard Backdrop frame using tear tape. This is less messier than liquid glue and it adheres perfectly to the acetate.
Flip your Metric Storyboard Backdrop frame over and start adding some foam tape to the back. Make sure to cover every part of the back along the seams so when we add the sequins, they cannot escape.
Now it is time to add your sequins, make sure to put just enough in each box. When you are happy with the amount peel the rest of the foam tape and adhere the background. It should like up perfectly and you will see how the pieces we glued down show through our windows.
Adhere your shaker to your card base using liquid glue.
Die cut the Scripty Merry Christmas Shadow die on pink cardstock and silver glitter cardsdtock. Adhere the Merry Christmas silver glittered to the backer pink. Now adhere to the center of the card.
Check it out... shake shake shake.... so fun!
