Noel...

Hello blog friends... yay! for Friday. Right? I have been doing all my Christmas shopping. I kind of feel like it is a full time job. Don't want to do that.... LOL I have not been online much this week but I did manage to create a card using the new Tim Holtz die Tidings and I have to say I love the big sentiments.

Supplies used: (affiliate links)

Create card from kraft cardstock A2 size.

Cut a panel on white cardstock measuring 4 x 5 1/4.

Stencil this fun Stampers Anonymous: Tim Holtz Festive stencil using Pinkfresh Studio: Berrylicious, Tidal Pond, Paradise and Doe ink pads. Add your ink using a small blending brush. this is one stencil so you might have to mask the stencil off when using other colors or just be very careful. Sometimes blending the inks is not such a bad thing when using stencils.. adds character.  Now adhere the pretty stenciled background to your kraft cardstock base.

Ink blend the Pinkfresh Studio: Berrylicious, Tidal Pond, Paradise and Doe on a piece of white cardstock. There are no rules when blending ink just use a light hand so your ink is not too dark. Now die cut the Noel from the Sizzix: Tim Holtz Big Tidings dies. Add some glue to the lower half of the Noel and sprinkle some of Pink & Main: Cracked Glass. We want it to look like our sentiment has just been dipped in snow. I did not use the backer I just added some foam tape to the back after the Pink & Main: Cracked Glass is dry. Adhere the sentiment to the stenciled background.

Die cut the star and the other star like ship (don't know what that is called) from the Sizzix: Tim Holtz Big Tidings dies on white glittered cardstock. Die cut the tree on light blue cardstock, add some glue to the top of it and sprinkle more of that fun Pink & Main: Cracked Glass. Let dry and add some foam tape to back and add it to the L of the Noel sentiment along with the star. Add the other shape to the N and you are done.

Oh wait... I forgot that I added the little gem from Honey Bee Stamps Pearl Stickers collection. Any pink will do. OK, now we are done...

I have to say I just never get tired of stenciled backgrounds... what about you? I think they are so fun and you really can add a lot of color to a card using stencils.

Thank you so much for stopping by.

Have a wonderful Friday.
