Dancin' Birthday Dragon...

Happy February 12th.. it is almost Valentine's day. I think I have shared LOTS of love cards with you all so today I am creating a Birthday card. SO... I seen this adorable Spellbinders Dancin' Birthday Dragon and knew I just had to have it. Don't you think he is just so adorable? Dies have become so advanced over the years and well as you have seen in my past post, I am using more and more of them. So let's get started.

Supplies used:

Create card from white cardstock A2 size.

Cut a white panel A2 size and use the Picket Fences Paper Pouncers to add the ink and create this fun background using the colors I have listed above.  Make sure to not touch the card until your ink is comply dry. As you can see I smudged my just a little.

Die cut all the pieces you need for a pink and green dragon using the Dancin' Birthday Dragon die. Pick colors that go together. The green dragon, I just copied the cover that the die comes with. I really liked the color combo, so went with it. Create your dragon using liquid and foam tape. The foam tape will add a little dimension.

Place your dragons on your card but do not adhere yet. We need to stamp the sentiment.  I used the Lawn Fawn So Much To Say stamp set Happy Birthday. This is one stamp so you will need to mask part of it when you stamp the ink on. After you know where the dragons are going to be go ahead and stamp the sentiment directly onto your background using black ink.

Adhere the dragons to your card using foam tape. We needed just a bit more dimension... at least that is what I think.

Adhere your panel to your card base using liquid glue.

TADA... a cute birthday card. Those little dragons just make me smile... so fun.

Thank you for stopping by.

Have a fantastic Monday.
